Documentary Film "Tony" at RiverWalk Center October 13th 2011

My 13 year old daughter Heather, an 8th grader at SMS, is spearheading this event and would LOVE to have more awareness of this trouble in Uganda with children being massacred by rebels.This is a free, public screening of the documentary "Tony" showed by the organization Invisible Children. Summit Education Foundation's BIG BUZZ OFF spelling bee a success!

Summit County's first annual adult spelling bee was a big success for the Summit Education Foundation Saturday night at the Riverwalk Center.  Over 43 teams were involved and at least $25,000 was raised for the Foundation!  Congratulations to the winning teams...1st Place - Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate 2nd Place - The Legend Team sponsored by Arapahoe Basin with 3 Summit Cove Elementary teachers spelling3rd Place -  Colorado Learning ConnectionsLots of photos online…See More

Summit Foundation's First Tracks Program

Last week's First Tracks event at Copper Mountain turned out beautifully!   Copper opens the lifts at 7:30am as a reward to Summit Foundation donors.  We didn't have fresh powder, but blue sky and beautiful groomed runs on the Timberline Express!  Thank you Summit Foundation!Slideshow here and Beaton Photography…See More
