Still Hands Cranial Sacral Therapy/Forest Pediatrics
Business Description
I am an occupational therapist in practice since 1977. My speciality includes pediatrics, sensory processing disorders, traumatic brain injuries of all types, prematurity, torticollis, infant massage, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, visual motor and functional visual difficulties, feeding difficulties, and behavioral issues. I am NDT trained and a provider of the Therapeutic Listening Therapy program. I provide consultations and staff trainings in sensory processing and working with all children for large and small child care facilities. I also specialize in providing cranial sacral therapy to children and people of all ages. This work promotes healing in all aspects, is grounded in the principles of anatomy and physiology, and facilitates fluid restoration through all body systems. When fluid flow is optimized, the body can reorganize for greater health. This is why people with many different injuries, trauma, and conditions can benefit greatly. This work is also extremely helpful for women and infants during and after pregnancy. A more recent addition to the therapy practice is the provision of neurofeedback/brain wave training. This therapy has been proven through research to be extremely helpful wtih many different diagnoses, including: epilepsy, ADD/ADHD, mood disorders, addictions, autism, learning disabilities, sleep, migraines, attentional issues, and improving athletic peak performance.
